Final Qualifying Shot & Eliminations Sunday.

So we only have the "Elite Cars" in qualifying, your car must
be legal with the rules below and run 9.99 OR QUICKER 
to enter this class.  If not, you may enter an ET class.

MIR is equipped with a P&G Meter (to check cubic inch displacement), Digital Borescope with LCD screen (to examine internal engine parts), Digital Calipers and Dial Calipers. The World Cup Finals event is also staffed with Chevy, Ford, Mopar, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Nissan and VW experts and technicians to enforce all class rules.


2009 Street Fighter Rules
 

Race Format:
Quick 16 field, Pro ladder, Heads-up, Pro tree, No breakout. 1/4 mile Drag Racing.

Body:
Any year domestic or import body. Aftermarket body parts are limited to hoods, trunks lids, sunroofs, wings, ground effects, bumpers, and front fenders only. One-piece front ends are not permitted. All other body parts must be stock. No body parts may be removed during competition.

Chassis:
Complete stock chassis and frame rails must be retained. Frames may be notched for clearance. Mini Tubs are permitted. 4-cylinder cars may be back halved.

Suspension:
Stock style suspension cars only allowed. Four links and ladder bars are prohibited. Weld on sub-frame connectors and rear sway bars are permitted. Torque Arms are permitted on all cars even if it wasn't originally equipped. Coil Overs are permitted. Leaf Springs and shocks may be moved to accommodate tire clearance. 4-cylinder cars may have any type suspension. Wheelie bars are prohibited on all cars.

Street Equipment:
Lexan windows are permitted. Interior is not required.

Exhaust:
Muffler(s) required unless turbocharged.

Electronics:
Two-steps, aftermarket ECU’s, and engine management systems are allowed.

Driveline:
Aftermarket axles, gear ratios, spools, and positive traction differentials are permitted. IRS cars may convert to straight axles only if it is a direct bolt in. Aftermarket axles, gear ratios, spools, and positive traction differentials are permitted.

Turbocharger:
Turbochargers are measured at the inducer wheel diameter at the point where the leading edge of the compressor wheel meets the inlet housing.

Nitrous Oxide:
On cars that are not permitted to use nitrous oxide, all nitrous bottles, nitrous/fuel/purge solenoids must be removed off car entirely.

Transmission:
Any auto or manual transmission allowed.

Fuel:
Gasoline only permitted. Aftermarket fuel cells are permitted.

Tires (FWD cars):
Any size DOT radial tire permitted. Maximum size DOT Bias Ply or Slick is 28.0” x 10.5”.

Tires (RWD cars):
Any size DOT radial tire permitted. Maximum size DOT Bias Ply or Slick is 30.0” x 11.5W”.

Tires (AWD cars):
Any size DOT radial tire permitted. Maximum size DOT Bias Ply or Slick is 28.0” x 10.5”.

  2-rotor cars:
Engine: OEM block from same manufacturer as car is required. Block may be swapped between different models of same manufacturer. Aftermarket blocks are prohibited.
Induction: Engine must be EFI. Any style intake is permitted.
Turbocharger: Any size single or twin turbochargers are permitted. Any type intercooler permitted. May combine with Nitrous.
Minimum Weight: None

 

  4-cylinder cars:
Engine: OEM block from same manufacturer as car is required. Block may be swapped between different models of same manufacturer. Aftermarket blocks are prohibited.
Induction: Carburetors or EFI is permitted. Any style intake is permitted.
Turbocharger: Any size single turbocharger permitted. Any type intercooler permitted. May combine with Nitrous.
Minimum Weight: None

 

  6-cylinder cars:
Engine: OEM block from same manufacturer as car is required. Block may be swapped between different models of same manufacturer. Aftermarket blocks are prohibited.
Induction: Engine must be EFI. Any style intake is permitted.
Turbocharger: Any size single or twin turbochargers are permitted. Any type intercooler permitted. May combine with Nitrous.
Minimum Weight: (FWD cars) None
Minimum Weight: (RWD & AWD cars) 2900 lbs.

 

  8-cylinder cars:
Engine: Small block engines only permitted.
Induction: Carburetors or EFI is permitted. Any style intake is permitted.
Turbocharger: Limited to 88mm single turbocharger. Any type intercooler permitted. Cannot combine with Nitrous.
Supercharger: F1, X trim, or XX trim superchargers or smaller permitted.  Any type intercooler permitted. Serpentine or cog belts permitted. May combine with Nitrous if less than 331ci.
Nitrous Oxide: Any style nitrous system.
Minimum Weight: Nitrous Small Block 2800 lbs.
Minimum Weight:
Serpentine belt superchargers 2800 lbs.
Minimum Weight:
F1, X trim, or XX trim superchargers 2900 lbs.
Minimum Weight: 85mm turbocharger 3200 lbs.
Minimum Weight: 88mm turbocharger 3400 lbs.

 

  10-cylinder cars:
Engine: OEM block from same manufacturer as car is required. Block must have been available for year, make, and model of car sold in USA. Aftermarket blocks are prohibited.
Induction: Engine must be EFI. OEM stock intakes only.
Turbocharger: Any size single or twin turbochargers are permitted on manual transmission cars only. Any type intercooler permitted. May combine with Nitrous. Turbochargers are prohibited on automatic cars.
Supercharger: Superchargers are permitted and must run off a serpentine belt. Air to air intercoolers only.
Nitrous Oxide: Any style nitrous system.
Minimum Weight: 3500 lbs.
